I request that payment be made by personal check, money order, or bank check, whenever possible. Please make your check payable to "Aerolite Meteorites." Merchant services and PayPal charge us fees for every transaction. When you purchase using a check or money order, it helps us keep our prices low.

I prefer not to accept PayPal for overseas orders. If you must purchase using PayPal from outside the United States please add an additional 4% to cover PayPal's exorbitant "cross border" fees. If you are purchasing from overseas I recommend Discover, Visa, Mastercard, international money orders, or wire transfer. I will ship your meteorite anywhere in the known universe. Please contact me and we will find the best and most economical method to get your specimen to you safely.

SHIPPING
Each order is carefully packed and every specimen comes with a hand made identification card. Signed certificates of authenticity are available free of charge for any specimen — just ask.

For most orders shipped within the United States, postage is about $5. Larger meteorites are sent by flat rate Priority Mail for a fixed cost of $8.75, plus insurance or delivery confirmation. Overseas orders can be shipped air mail, USPS Global Priority Mail (GPM), UPS, or Fedex. Please contact me for exact shipping costs. I am always happy to provide a no-obligation quote. I charge exact shipping costs only. No handling fees.

INSURANCE POLICY
I strongly recommend that my customers purchase postal insurance for all orders. Insurance only costs a few dollars and it protects both purchaser and seller in case a valuable meteorite specimen gets lost in the mail. United States Postal Service insurance rates are available upon request. For high value specimens I recommend sending by Registered Mail, at a cost of $9.50, plus postage. Please note: I am not responsible for uninsured packages, once they are turned over to the postal service. In the unlikely event that an insured package is lost, buyer will be refunded in full, or may substitute another specimen of comparable value.
