Iron meteorites
with natural holes are among the rarest and most interesting of all meteorite
specimens. Occasionally, during a meteorite's journey through the atmosphere,
it will melt in such a way as to create a natural hole. Probably less
than one in a thousand irons display this type of feature. I am lucky
to have acquired these excellent and very collectible specimens. |
